Mounzoun's advancements in healthcare access
Mounzoun, a remote village located 35 kilometers south of Bamako, is home to approximately 3,100 residents, including 720 elementary and middle school students.
To improve health outcomes in the community, the Mali Wellness Foundation distributed over 750 hygiene kits to students. Each kit contained essential items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, washcloths, and hand soap. In addition to the kits, students received comprehensive training on proper personal hygiene practices, empowering them to maintain their health and well-being.
